5% For The Community Program

Herman Law Firm PLLC donates 5% of our fees to nonprofit organizations and charities. We call this the 5% For The Community Program.

After the case is resolved, we talk with you about which charity should receive the 5% donation from us. Then we make the donation - from our fees, not from the client’s recovery. We are the only law firm in the Puget Sound area that does this.

Some charities we have donated to recently include:

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) - A victim support and advocacy group founded by victims of drunk drivers.

Doctors Without Borders - A group which recruits doctors and nurses to provide free medical care in areas affected by war, terrorism, or natural disaster.

American Red Cross - A disaster recovery group which helps victims of earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods, and other disasters.

Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) - This local group operates a no-kill animal shelter, and rescue injured wildlife.

Medic One Foundation - This foundation funds paramedic training, specialized equipment for paramedics, and supports research to develop more effective emergency medical care.

Make A Wish Foundation - This terrific group uses donations and celebrity help to grant wishes to kids with life-threatening illnesses.
