WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
-
We donate 5% of all of our fees to an appropriate charity - for
example, if the client was hurt by a drunk driver, the donation
goes to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). The donation
comes out of our fees, so there’s no charge to the client. [No
other personal injury firm in the area does this.]

 |
-
Jeff
Herman personally reads all medical records, writes the demand, and
negotiates your case. [At many other firms, they use paralegals -
who are not attorneys - to do this.]
-
Jeff
Herman personally drafts all motions and pleadings, and appears at
all court appearances. [Many other firms hire inexperienced
associate attorneys to do this.]
-
We talk to all eyewitnesses to the accident and get written
statements and photos, if possible. [Many firms do not do
this. Others hire expensive private investigators - who may
not understand the legal issues involved - and charge their fees to
you as a “cost.”]
-
We send “no-collection” letters to your doctors and hospitals to
help prevent your credit rating from being ruined by collections
while you are getting treatment and resolving your case. [Few
firms do this.]
-
If your medical bills have been paid by Personal Injury Protection
(PIP) coverage that covers the car you were in, the PIP insurer has
to pay your attorney the same percentage contingent fee that you pay
the attorney for collecting their money. [Some attorneys keep
this contingent fee. We give it to you. If the PIP
carrier has paid out $10,000.00, which is common, this means
$3,333.33 more in your pocket.]
-
We market Herman Law Firm LLC through referrals, networking, and
this website, not expensive Yellow Pages and TV advertising.
[This means we don’t need to run a high-volume practice using
paralegals to do work that should be done by attorneys, just to pay
for high advertising costs.]
-
We don’t charge extra for routine postage and copying.
-
We send each client a comments form after their case is concluded,
so they can tell us how we can serve our clients better.
